De-Existentialize


If we de-existentialize
our exo-leather
molding dermis
from this cookie-cutter life
equilibrium will soar
in the clouds
with Dalí's ants
in a single file
we can file away
at our nails, whittle away
at the problem but
there will still exist our
collective nothingness
our collective
destruction of life
war, famine, drought
we whittle away
at every life-sustaining
evidence of providence
and elevate ourselves
to demigods of
greed
idols
if we exist and we kill
then we should
de-exist ourselves.
